When does my membership expire?
Memberships are valid for approximately one year from the date of purchase. For simplicity, memberships expire at the end of the corresponding month the following year.
For example, a membership purchased in August 2026 will be valid through August 31, 2027.
Can I visit as often as I want?
Yes. Active members receive unlimited general admission to The Private Collection during regular operating hours.
Special ticketed events or separately priced experiences may not be included unless specifically stated.
Do I need my membership card?
Please bring your membership card whenever possible. Your card allows our staff to quickly verify your membership level and expiration.
If you forget your card, we may be able to verify your active membership using the name and information associated with your original purchase.
Can someone else use my membership card?
No. Memberships are issued to an individual and are non-transferable.
Can I bring a guest?
Of course! Membership comes with complimentary guest admissions each year.
Additional guests may purchase regular admission.
Does my discount apply to everything at The Downtown Oddity Parlor?
Membership will include 10% off Private Collection merchandise and unfortunately does not extend to The Downtown Oddity Parlor.
Certain items, consignment pieces, special acquisitions, already-discounted merchandise, or other exclusions may not qualify.
Do memberships automatically renew?
Not at this time.
When your membership approaches its expiration date, you'll have the opportunity to purchase another year and continue your membership.
Can I give a membership as a gift?
Absolutely. A membership to The Private Collection makes an unusual gift for the curious, collectors of the strange, paranormal enthusiasts, history lovers, and anyone who would rather receive an experience than another ordinary present.
Gift memberships can be activated for the recipient when they claim their membership.
Are memberships refundable?
Membership purchases are non-refundable after the membership has been activated or used for admission.
